Episode 5: Alex Wolf

Alex WolfAlex Wolf: Head of S&C for the EIS.  There is so much valuable content in this episode for all S&C coaches I can’t recommend it enough!  Alex talks about how his philosophies have evolved over the years and how the structure of the EIS has evolved.  He talks about his most valuable lessons from leading the S&C for British Rowing as well as discussing his problem-solving framework, which he unfortunately couldn’t present at this year’s UKSCA conference.  He also talks about what he and the EIS look for when they hire S&C coaches.  Later on I review a great article by John Kiely on periodization and as always round up available jobs and CPD.
