Episode 10: Simon Brundish

Simon BrundishAs well as having 20 years of S&C and PT experience with general to elite populations, Simon Brundish is now leading a physical literacy initiative in UK primary schools. He is doing some incredible work that is definitely worth sharing! We talk physical literacy for youngsters and all about his incredible model for development based on superhero characters. I’ve been lucky enough to participate in one of Simon’s practicals and I swear you’ll struggle to think of a better or more fun way to coach movement to kids. Then this month I reviewed Simon Sinek’s Start with Why and as always round up a few CPD and job opportunities.

CPD:

FREE Global Performance Summit from Ritter performance. It includes speakers such as Dan John, Nick Winkleman, Dean Somerset, Charlie Weingrof amongst many others! Follow the link on my website and get on board. Also if you want to keep all the presentations plus a shed load of extras, I think it’s only something like $80.

On the 17th May, is the Catapult Performanc Summit with key not speakers Sir Clive Woodward and Professor Damien Hughes as well as an expert discussion panel including an old colleague of mine, Adam Sotheran Head of Sports Science & Medicine for British Diving.

Interview with Paul Brice.

On June 11th, Matt Lovell is putting on a 1 day event in London with other speakers including Calvin Moriss and Nigel Stockil. For just £75.
